Basic Porridge Recipe

I get asked all of the time what my basic recipe for my signature creamy, thick porridge is. If you are wanting to know my secret recipe, you are in the right place!

Oat recipe: 50g Oats 150ml milk (or milk alternative) 100ml water (for very creamy oats replace this with 100ml milk) Microwave in 1 minute intervals (stir between them to stop it overflowing!) 4 times (so 4 minutes) until it has started to thicken. Leave to cool, it will continue to thicken up whilst it cools so the longer you leave it the less watery it will be. Reheat for 1 minute if needed and there you go- my beloved oats.
