MOMA Almond Butter and Salted Caramel Porridge Pot Review
https://www.momafoods.co.uk New Dairy Free Almond Butter and Salted Caramel porridge pot!
Opening up the lid, the smell of sweet caramel wafts up. It certainly tastes like caramel too- it’s the main flavour. The almond and salt get overpowered a little but they are there in the background. The rich, golden taste is amazing. Just like a sticky toffee pudding or a treacle tart; this porridge would be perfect for a dessert! (Oats for any meal, any course, anytime ) Texture wise, there are thick rolled oats that make it chewy. There are also pieces of dates -that I’m sure are infused with some caramel flavouring because I thought they were caramel pieces at first (oh yeah. They’re that good)- that are crunchy AND THE MOST UNIQUE PART: lots of crunchy, gritty pieces of almond! I wasn’t expecting it at all. This porridge’s texture is bitty and not smooth but I think it’s great as it’s different to any other porridge pot I’ve had. Overall, this porridge pot is good if you like very sweet oats and caramel flavours. It’ll be good for a snack or a dessert, especially with the portion being quite small. The almond flavour is only subtle so if you’re looking for more of a nutty taste I would maybe add some almonds or almond butter on top- this will keep you fuller for longer too! 7/10 porridge points! Have you tried this? What do you think? Almond butt-yeah or Salted Cara-maybe not? Love you oatlings x
