Port Merion Hotel Porridge Review

Port Meirion Porridge for breakfast- their village is beautiful, but how is

their porridge? Made with water, the oaty flavour shines through. It has a subtle difference to the oats I usually have, but I can't place my finger on what it is exactly: sweetness? Creaminess? Perhaps they were cooked with magical Welsh dragons, giving them a toasted undertone. The texture is good as well: chunky, with the oats soft. I mixed some fruit in however I ended up eating them separately as I think the oats deserved to be experienced by themselves: they didn't need extra to boost it up. Overall 7/10 Porridge points!
