Tesco Free From 'Original' Porridge Pot Review

Little review of @tescofood Free From Porridge Pot. Thanks to the delivery man for subbing this for me.

My overall impression of this porridge pot is that it’s pretty standard. It has your basic oat taste with the right amount of sweetness. Apart from that there isn’t much more to say on the flavour as it’s only original (aka plain) but nonetheless it’s yummy and will satisfy oaty cravings. The texture is smooth with small chewy chunks of oats (I assume unintentionally made when you pour the oats on top and don’t mix it straight away-it’s still a nice addition to the consistency). It’s not sticky or pastey which is good. Compared to a normal pot it’s slightly better texture-wise as it’s more natural (like if you were to make it yourself without the oats being instant). It’s rice powder that is used to replace the milk powder, therefore it doesn’t have that creamy colour or consistency. Its slightly watery, and thin, though I’m sure if you just added less water it would be fine! Overall it is a great porridge pot for those with allergies, intolerances or vegans who want a cheap and basic breakfast. There are better ones in the market, but this one suffices. 7/10 porridge points! I hope you enjoyed this review. If you have tried this porridge, tell me what you think! What should I review next? Have a nice night oatlings x
