Quoats Date and Pecan Porridge Pot Review

Quoats Date and Pecan Porridge Pot Review This porridge pot was gooood. It’s very unique to other pots I’ve tried before (apart from the other quoats pot but you understand what I mean) Firstly, the taste. You can definitely taste the quinoa, more than the oats in fact. There is a bit more nuttiness (aside from the pecans) than an average all-oat porridge. Overall, the pot isn’t that sweet until you get a chunk of date. The date is just the right amount of caramel-like sweetness that cuts through the plain- verging savoury?-oat/quinoa/flax base. I love the woody addition of the pecans too. The naturalness of the entire taste combination makes you know this pot is good for you. There is nothing artificial (no added sugar etc) whatsoever. A very healthy option that gives you fruit, fibre, healthy fats and fuel that will last you. The texture is sticky and creamy, with grainy bits of quinoa. I love the texture as it’s more interesting than a basic smooth porridge. The crunch of the nuts make your teeth go wild for some action. The dates just melt on your tongue. It’s really really good. Overall I will give this pot an 8/10 porridge points. It’s really different; a nice change to simply oats on their own. Go grains! Have you tried this? What do you think? Let me know oatlings!
